Dragons have been a symbol of power, and magic, today we are going to transform a simple piece of paper into a cool dragon claw. It is visually impactful and seems to give you strength, try to make five or ten claws and put them on your fingers, that would be perfect for costume parties, and showcasing your origami skills.

It’s easy to make and you can quickly master this fascinating project. You can either make five of them with the same color or a rainbow color collection like we do.

Material

Each dragon claw requires a 15×15 cm origami square paper. Use various colored papers for vibrant claws and to decorate your fingers.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Start with the white side of the paper facing up, fold it in half horizontally, and unfold it.

Step 2

Fold the top and bottom right edges to align with the middle horizontal crease.

Step 3

Fold the paper in half horizontally from the bottom to the top.

Step 4

Rotate the paper 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Step 5

Fold the bottom corner up along the black dotted line.

Step 6

Flip the paper over.

Step 7

Fold the right part to the left.

Step 8

Flip the paper over again.

Step 9

Fold up the bottom right edge of the bottom layer to the left along the dotted line.

Step 10

Tuck the small corner into the pocket under it.

Step 11

As the picture shows, place your finger into the opening on the left side, to put it on your finger.

Step 12

Use the same method to make four more dragon claws with different colored paper to cover all your fingers.
