An origami ninja star, a shuriken, is a Japanese concealed weapon. This ninja star is made of paper and has a star shape, similar to the throwing stars used by ninja warriors in Japanese folklore. It is made from two pieces of paper, with a few simple steps, and is loved for its simple and symmetrical structure.

Material
Prepare two pieces of 15×15 cm origami square paper, and you will get a 7.5×7.5 cm ninja star. Use different colored paper, especially contrasting colors, for a more impressive star.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Start with the colored side of the two papers facing up. Fold them in half vertically, crease them well then unfold.
Step 2
Fold their left and right edges to align with their vertical crease, and unfold them.
Step 3
Cut the two papers along these creases you just made, creating eight rectangles.
Step 4
Take out two rectangles of papers of different colors, for one of the papers, fold its top edge to align with its left edge, and the bottom edge to align with its right edge.
For the other piece of paper, fold its top edge to align with the right edge, and the bottom edge to align with the left edge.
Step 5
For the left paper, fold the bottom edge of the top triangle to align with the right edge of this paper, and the top edge of the bottom triangle to align with the left edge of the paper.
For the right paper, fold the bottom edge of the top triangle to align with the left edge of the paper, and the top edge of the bottom triangle to align with the right edge of the paper.
Step 6
Flip the left paper over.
Step 7
Rotate the left paper 45 degrees clockwise, and rotate the right paper 45 degrees counterclockwise, then place the right yellow paper on the left one.
Step 8
Unfold the right triangle of the top paper.
Step 9
Fold the top left corner of the bottom paper along the crease shown by the dotted line.
Step 10
Fold up the bottom right corner of the top paper along the crease shown by the dotted line, so that the triangle folded down from the previous step pressed underneath.
Step 11
Fold up the bottom right corner of the bottom paper along dotted line, and unfold it.
Step 12
Fold up this bottom right corner again and make it under the left part of the top paper.
Step 13
Turn over the paper vertically.
Step 14
Fold the bottom right corner diagonally along the dotted line, and unfold it.
Step 15
Fold the bottom right corner again as you just did, and make it tuck into the pocket of the top paper.
Step 16
Fold the top left corner of the yellow paper diagonally along the dotted line, and unfold it.
Step 17
Similarly, fold this corner again and tuck it into the pocket of the top paper, this is the final shape of a ninja star.
