How to Make an Easy Origami Watermelon
Summer is here! Let’s fold a watermelon. If you will make a lovely picnic craft, this is the ideal idea.
This watermelon model needs two pieces of origami paper, one red for the watermelon flesh, and one green for the rind.

Material
Get two pieces of 15*15 cm origami paper, one red and one white side, the other green and one white. You will get a 7.5*15 cm watermelon.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Firstly, take out the red paper, start with the white side of the paper facing up, and fold it in half.

Take the left and right points of the top layer, and fold them a little toward the center along the dotted line.

Then fold the top edge of the top layer down along the dotted line.

Flip it over.

Repeat step 2 for this side, fold the left and right corners to the center a little.

Then fold the top edge down along the dotted line.

Rotate it 180 degrees clockwise.

Now, take out the green paper, start with the white side facing up, and fold it in half.

Open the red paper from the bottom, then take the top layer of the green paper and tuck it between the two layers of the red paper.

Fold the bottom left and right corners up a little.
