- Difficulty: Easy
Material
Prepare a piece of 7.5ร7.5 cm square sticky note paper. Using patterned paper will make your origami rose look even more stunning.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Place the paper with the desired display side face up to begin folding, fold it in half horizontally, leave a crease, and unfold it.

Step 2
Fold the paper in half vertically, and unfold it.

Step 3
Flip the paper from left to right.

Step 4
Fold the paper in half diagonally and unfold it.

Step 5
Fold the paper in half diagonally from another side and unfold it.

Step 6
Now, use both hands to press the two center points on the right and left edges. Then, push them down to make the center points of the three edges meet the center point of the bottom edge.
Flatten the fold to get a triangle.

Step 7
Fold up the top layer’s left and right corners to meet the top corner, then fold them down to meet the bottom edge’s center point, leave two creases, and unfold them.

Step 8
Lift the two flaps to make them stand upright, then open and squash them along the creases you made in the previous step.

Step 9
Turn the paper over from left to right.

Step 10
As you did in step 7, fold up the left and right corners to meet the top corner, then fold them down to meet the bottom edge’s center point, leave two creases, and unfold them.

Step 11
Similarly, lift these two flaps, open and squash them.

Step 12
Fold down the top triangle.

Step 13
Rotate the paper 90 degrees from back to front, then slightly expand this opening.

Step 14
Expand the left and right parts and squash them.

Step 15
Turn over the paper from left to right, then lift the triangle.

Step 16
Focus on the top left small square, fold it in half diagonally along the dotted line.

Step 17
The same to the bottom right square, fold it in half diagonally along the dotted line. Now, we have the prototype of a rose.

Step 18
Shape this rose by twisting its four petals clockwise.

Step 19
Turn over the paper from left to right.

Step 20
Roll all four corners with a slightly thin pen or wooden stick.

Step 21
Turn over the paper from left to right, and that’s your lovely origami rose.
