Flip the paper over from left to right.
Step 3
Fold the bottom right edge to align with the top left edge, leaving a crease, and unfold it
Fold the bottom left edge to align with the top right edge, leaving a crease, and unfold it.
Step 4
Mountain fold the left and right creases, then fold the left, right, and top points to meet the bottom point, and finally, flatten the fold to get a small square.
Step 5
Fold the top left and right edges to align with the middle vertical crease, crease them well, and unfold them.
Step 6
Bring up the top layer on the right side, open it, and squash it. Then, fold the left layer to the right side along the vertical crease.
Step 7
Bring up the top layer on the left side, open it, and squash it.
Step 8
Flip the paper over from left to right, then fold the top left and right edges to align with the middle vertical crease, crease them well, and unfold them.
Step 9
Bring up the top layer on the right side, open it, and squash it [pictures 1 and 2].
Then, fold the upper layer on the left side to the right side along the middle vertical crease [picture 3].
Next, bring up the left layer, open and squash it [pictures 4 to 6].
Step 10
Fold the bottom left and right edges of the upper layer to align with the middle vertical crease, crease them well, and unfold them [pictures 1 and 2].
Lift the upper layer and make two slanted short mountain creases indicated by the red dotted lines [picture 3], then fold the bottom edge of the upper layer along the dotted line that connects two red spots, and push the left and right points toward the center [picture 4].
Finally, flatten the fold and press down the top triangle [pictures 5 and 6].
Step 11
Turn over the paper from left to right and repeat step 10.
Step 12
Rotate the paper 90 degrees from front to back. Bring the top four flaps together at the top and the bottom four flaps together at the bottom. [pictures 1 and 2]
Then, rotate the paper 90 degrees counterclockwise and another 90 degrees from back to front. [pictures 3 and 4]
Finally, repeat steps 10 to 11.
Step 13
Fold the upper flap on the right side to the left along the middle vertical crease, then fold up the bottom triangle.
Step 14
Fold the middle vertical line of the upper layer indicated by the red line to align with the horizontal crease indicated by the black line. Then, flatten the fold by pushing the lifted layer to the right side.
Step 15
Fold the upper flap on the left side to the left along the middle vertical crease, then fold up the bottom triangle.
Step 16
As you did in step 14, fold the middle vertical line of the upper layer indicated by the red line to align with the horizontal crease indicated by the black line. Then, flatten the fold by pushing the lifted layer to the left side.
Step 17
Fold the right point of the upper quadrilateral toward the left side along the black dotted line, then flatten the fold by pushing down the top edge of the opened flap on the right side along the dotted line [pictures 1 and 2].
Repeat this for the left side: fold the left point of the upper quadrilateral toward the right side along the black dotted line, then flatten the fold by pushing down the top edge of the opened flap on the left side along the dotted line [pictures 3 and 4].
Finally, fold up the flap at the center along the dotted line [pictures 5 and 6].
Step 18
Flip the paper over from left to right, then fold the upper layer on the right side to the left side along the middle vertical crease. Finally, fold up the bottom triangle.
Step 19
As you did in step 14, fold the middle vertical line indicated by the red line to align with the horizontal crease indicated by the black line. Then, flatten the fold by pushing the lifted layer to the right side.
Step 20
Fold the upper layer on the left side to the right side, then fold up the bottom triangle.
Step 21
As you did in step 16, fold the middle vertical line of the upper layer indicated by the red line to align with the horizontal crease indicated by the black line. Then, flatten the fold by pushing the lifted layer to the left side.
Step 22
Repeat step 17.
Step 23
Rotate the paper 90 degrees from front to back. Bring the top two flaps together at the top and the bottom two flaps together at the bottom. [pictures 1 and 2]
Then, rotate the paper 90 degrees counterclockwise and another 90 degrees from back to front. [pictures 3 and 4]
Step 24
Fold up the bottom triangle, then fold down the top point of this triangle, crease it well, and unfold it. Next, open the top corner of this triangle, and squash it to create a small rectangle.
Step 25
Similar to step 22, fold the right point of the upper triangle toward the left side along the black dotted line, then flatten the fold by pushing down the top edge of the opened flap on the right side along the dotted line [pictures 1 and 2].
Repeat this for the left side: fold the left point of the upper quadrilateral toward the right side along the black dotted line, then flatten the fold by pushing down the top edge of the opened flap on the left side along the dotted line [pictures 3 and 4].
Step 26
Turn over the paper from left to right.
Step 27
Fold up the bottom triangle, then repeat step 25.
Step 28
