This pocket resembles a pyramid when you lay it flat and also looks like a piece of cheese. It features an opening for inserting items, and you can use any color or pattern of paper to create different effects. Using kraft paper will result in a sturdy pocket that can be reused multiple times.

Material
Get a piece of 15cm x 15cm origami square paper, to create a 5.85cm x 6.1cm long origami pouch. Feel free to experiment with different colors and sizes of paper.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Place the paper with the desired display side facing up to begin folding. Fold down the top edge a little along the dotted line, then turn over the paper from left to right.

Step 2
Fold the left edge toward the right along the black dotted line.

Step 3
Fold the right edge toward the left side and unfold it.

Step 4
Lift the top rectangular layer, then fold the right edge toward the left side again, and tuck the top edge of this right rectangle under the top rectangular layer you lifted. Flatten the fold.

Step 5
Fold the bottom edge to align with the top edge, crease it well, and unfold it.

Step 6
Fold up the bottom edge again and tuck it under the top rectangular layer.

Step 7
Fold down the top rectangle, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 8
Fold the paper in half vertically, leaving a crease on the top rectangle, and unfold it.

Step 9
Fold the left edge along the dotted line connecting two red spots; one is the bottom left point of the paper, and the other is the midpoint of the top rectangle’s bottom edge. Crease it well, and unfold it.

Step 10
Similarly, fold the right edge along the dotted line connecting two red spots; one is the bottom right point of the paper, and the other is the midpoint of the top rectangle’s bottom edge. Crease it well, and unfold it.

Step 12
Rotate it 90 degrees from back to front; then mountain fold the two creases.

Step 13
Rotate it 90 degrees from front to back, then push the left and right side of the opening to the center to close it.

Step 14
That’s your cute origami pouch.
