Material
Get nine pieces of 15ร15 cm square paper to create a 7.5ร7.5ร7.5 cm origami pencil holder. You can mix and match the colors to create a personalized origami pencil holder.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Take out one of the papers, fold and unfold it in half horizontally, then vertically.

Step 2
Fold the bottom left and right points to meet the center intersection point.

Step 3
Fold up the bottom triangle.

Step 4
Flip the paper over from left to right, then fold it in half vertically from left to right.

Step 5
Fold another piece of paper in the same manner above.

Step 6
Rotate the right one 180 degrees counterclockwise.

Step 7
Rotate both of them 90 degrees from front to back to make them stand upright. Then, assemble them by tucking the left one between the layers of the right one.

Step 8
Rotate these two units 90 degrees from back to front to lay them flat, and assemble them well.

Step 9
Rotate the paper 90 degrees from back to front to make it stand upright, open the paper’s center hollow, and flatten it from the left and right sides. Rotate the paper 90 degrees counterclockwise, then another 90 degrees from back to front to lay it flat.

Step 10
Open the paper’s center hollow and adjust the paper into the shape of a square pillar.

Step 11
Use the same method to make three more square pillars.

Glue two of the square pillars together

Similarly, glue the other two square pillars together.

Glue these two together to complete the assembly of the origami pencil holder.

Now, let’s make a base for the pencil holder.
Take out another piece of paper, fold and unfold it in half horizontally, then vertically.
