Material

Prepare six pieces of 7.5cm x 7.5cm paper to create a lovely origami paper crown. You can choose other colors of paper to create it, or even six different colored papers to make a colorful crown.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Take out one piece of paper, place it with the desired display side face down to begin folding. Fold and unfold it in half horizontally.

Step 2

Fold the paper in half vertically, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 3

Fold the top left and right corners diagonally to meet the center intersection point formed by the two creases.

Step 4

Fold the bottom edge upward along the dotted line, but keep it slightly away from the horizontal crease, this is a finished unit of this crown.

Fold the remaining five pieces of paper in the same manner as above.

Step 5

Unfold their bottom rectangle, arrange them neatly as shown below, overlapping half of each other. Next, fold up the bottom edge again, then fold the bottom edge along the center horizontal crease.

Step 6

Apply glue on the left end, then fold the paper into a circle and tuck the left end into the right end to secure it well and complete the crown.
