Material
Prepare a one-dollar bill to fold a lovely origami boat. A slightly new bill would be better.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Fold the bill in half vertically, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 2
Fold the left and right edges to align with the top edge.

Step 3
Fold the top left corner of the left triangle to meet its top right corner, leaving a vertical crease, and unfold it.

Step 4
Flip the bill from left to right.

Step 5
Fold the left and right sections of the top edge to align with the center vertical crease, then unfold the right side.

Step 6
Fold the top right corner to meet the top left corner, then fold it back to the right side along the existing crease indicated by the blue dotted line [pictures 1 and 2]
Fold the top edge along the crease indicated by the dotted line to align with the vertical crease [pictures 3 and 4]

Step 7
Fold down the top corner a little along the blue dotted line.

Step 8
Flip the bill from back to front, then fold the top edge to align with the bottom edge.
