Material
Get two pieces of 15ร15 cm origami square paper to create a 6.8ร7.5 cm origami house. The colors of the paper can be matched at will.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Take out the yellow paper, we are going to create the roof part. Place it with the yellow side down to begin folding, bend it as the picture shows, like an โSโ, then flatten this edge, creating two creases to divide this edge into three equal parts.
Step 2
Fold the bottom edge along the dotted line that extends from the point you just marked on the right, then fold down the top rectangle.
Step 3
Fold the left and right edges to align with the bottom edge, crease them well, and unfold them.
Step 4
Fold the bottom right edge to align with the top left edge, and unfold it. Then fold the two edges to align with the bottom edge and unfold them.
Step 5
Unfold the paper completely.
Step 6
Fold the left edge to the right side along the dotted line that connects the two intersection points indicated by the red spots, crease it well, and unfold it.
Step 7
Similarly, fold the right edge to the left side along the dotted line that connects the two intersection points indicated by the red spots, crease it well, and unfold it.
Step 8
Fold up the bottom edge and fold down the top edge along the existing creases indicated by the dotted lines.
Step 9
Push the red spot on the bottom edge to meet the top left corner of the paper along the crease indicated by the dotted line. Then, fold up the bottom left corner of the paper diagonally along the dotted line.
Step 10
Press down the right part of the standing layer and keep the valley fold indicated by the red dotted line, then lift the top right corner along the crease indicated by the dotted line.
Next, view the model from the left side, then fold down the right point diagonally along the dotted line to finish the roof part.
Step 11
Take out another piece of paper to create the base part of the house, place it with the green side down to begin folding, bend it as the picture shows, like an โSโ, then flatten this edge, creating two creases to divide this edge into three equal parts.

Fold the top and bottom edges toward the center a little along the dotted lines.
Step 13
Fold up the bottom edge along the dotted line that extends from the point you just marked on the right, then fold down the top edge along the dotted line as well.
Step 14
Fold the left and right edges to align with the bottom edge, crease them well, and unfold them.
Step 15
Fold the bottom right edge to align with the top left edge, and unfold it. Then fold the two edges to align with the bottom edge and unfold them.
Step 16
Unfold both folds of the previous two steps.
Step 17
Fold the left edge to the right side along the dotted line that connects the two intersection points indicated by the red spots, crease it well, and unfold it.
Step 18
Similarly, fold the right edge to the left side along the dotted line that connects the two intersection points indicated by the red spots, crease it well, and unfold it.
Step 19
Mountain fold the two creases indicated by the red dotted lines [picture 1] and lift the top edge along the horizontal crease shown by the dotted line [picture 2].
Then, lift the bottom edge along the crease shown by the dotted line and the right part of the paper [pictures 3 and 4]
Finally, fold down the right edge along the dotted line [picture 5]
Step 20
Repeat this for the left side. Push down the left part of the top and bottom edges, then lift the left edge, and finally, fold down the top edge of the left layer.
Step 21
Pinch the four corners of the box to make them sharper.
Step 22
Assemble the two parts.
