Step 5
Lift the top two layers, then fold the left and right edges to align with the middle vertical crease.
Step 6
Fold the top left and right points diagonally; then, we can see there are two white squares. Fold diagonally to form two small triangles, symmetry to the two you just made.
Finally, fold down the two top points.
Step 7
Fold the bottom left and right points diagonally.
Step 8
Fold up the bottom triangle and unfold it.
Step 9
Unfold the bottom left and right layers.
Step 10
Take the right edge of the left layer and the left edge of the right layer, then fold them along the dotted lines separately, ensuring they align with the horizontal crease. Next, fold up the bottom edge and flatten the fold.
Step 11
We can see an upside down trapezoid here. Fold its bottom edge to align with its top edge, leaving a crease, and unfold it. Then, fold its bottom edge to align the crease you made, and unfold it.
Step 12
Fold up the bottom edge very little to align with the crease you made in the previous step, then fold up this trapezoid and fold down its top edge to align with the existing crease [pictures 1 to 3].
Next, fold down the trapezoid and fold up its bottom edge [pictures 4 to 6].
Step 13
Fold up this trapezoid and fold down its top edge [pictures 1 and 2].
Fold down this trapezoid and fold up its bottom edge [pictures 3 and 4].
Fold up this trapezoid [pictures 5 and 6].
Step 14
Keep repeating the above steps. Fold down the top edge of this trapezoid and fold down this layer [pictures 1 and 2].
Fold up the trapezoid’s bottom edge to align with the middle horizontal crease, and finally, slightly expand the zigzag part downward.
Step 15
Pinch the wings together in the middle and spread the ends slightly.
Step 16
Lift the top edges of the wings a little, and turn over the paper from left to right.
