Material
Get 12 sheets of 7.5ร7.5 cm square paper for folding a heart bracelet, you can add or decline the number of paper to make the finished product better fit your wrist.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Take out one of the papers and fold it in half horizontally, leaving a crease, and unfold it.
Step 2
Fold the top and bottom edges to align with the middle horizontal crease.
Step 3
Flip the paper over from left to right.
Step 4
Fold the paper in half vertically from left to right.
Step 5
Fold the top and bottom left points diagonally along the dotted lines, and unfold them.
Step 6
Unfold the top layer back to the left side.
Step 7
Mountain fold the middle vertical crease and valley fold the two slanted creases, then lift the two middle vertical creases. Finally, push the left edge to the right side, and flatten the fold.
Step 8
Unfold the top layer back to the left side.
Step 9
Fold the right section of the bottom edge to align with the middle vertical crease, leaving a short crease as the red line shows, and unfold it.
Step 10
Similarly, fold the right section of the top edge to align with the middle vertical crease, leaving a short crease as the red line shows, and unfold it.
Step 11
Fold up the right section of the bottom edge to align with the middle horizontal crease, and fold down the right section of the top edge to align with the horizontal crease as well. Then lift the right part along the crease indicated by the black dotted lines, as the third picture shows.
Step 12
Press the right part to the left side and flatten the fold, then fold this top flap back to the right side along the dotted line.
Step 13
Fold the left edge along the dotted line, then unfold this layer for 90 degrees to make it stand upright.
Step 14
Open and squash the top and bottom pocket of the stand upright layer.
Step 15
Here, we have two squares on the left side. Fold them diagonally to form two small triangles, then fold the top point of both triangles to meet their bottom edge. Finally, turn over the paper from front to back to finish one of the units of the bracelet.
Step 16
Follow the same steps as above to fold the remaining paper.
Step 17
Take out two units and apply glue to the bottom rectangular portion of one of the units. Flip them over from left to right.
Step 18
Insert the rectangle of the glued unit into the rectangle of the other unit to assemble both units, then turn them over.
Step 19
Assemble the remaining units as described above.
Step 20
Turn the bracelet over, lift both ends, and wrap it around to form a ring. Insert one end’s rectangle into the other end’s rectangle.
Step 21
This is the final shape of your origami heart bracelet.
