This origami flower vase is a perfect combination of art and geometry. So it can be perfect decoration if you want to add a modern twist.
This is a combined paper origami vase, made with five pieces of square papers. The basic folding element is quite easy and we will assemble all the parts together.
For the color combination, we suggest using a bright color with pure white or gradient colors. Another option is to take your flower into consideration and construct the flower and vase as a whole decoration item.

Material
Get five pieces of 15ร15 cm square paper to create an 11.25ร7.5 cm origami geometric flower vase. Colors can be changed and matched at will to meet your preferences.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Remove one sheet of paper and place it with the colored side facing up. Fold the paper in half horizontally and then in half vertically. Unfold the paper to reveal two creases. Next, cut along the creases to obtain four small squares.
Step 2
Take out one of the squares marked No.1, and fold it in half horizontally from bottom to top.
Step 3
Fold the bottom left and right points to meet the top point, crease well, and unfold.
Step 4
Fold down the top point to meet the midpoint of the bottom edge, and unfold it.
Step 5
Unfold the paper completely.
Step 6
Fold down the top point to meet the center point of the paper, then fold up the bottom triangle.
Step 7
Fold the other three pieces of small square paper in the same manner above.
Step 8
Stand them up and form a circle.
Step 9
Tuck the left corner of the top right unit into the right corner of the top left unit.
Step 10
Assemble the bottom left and right units with the top combined unit, as the following pictures show.

To secure the circle, tuck the bottom left corner into the bottom right corner.

Turn over this model from left to right.

Fold the remaining three sheets of paper using the same method described above.
Step 14
Take out the last piece of paper and place it with the blue side facing up. Fold the paper in half horizontally and then in half vertically. Unfold the paper to reveal two creases. Next, cut along the creases to obtain four small squares.
Step 15
Only one of the small squares is needed. Place it with the white side facing up, then fold it in half horizontally and in half vertically, unfold the paper to reveal two creases.
Step 16
Fold the four points to meet the center point, then unfold them to make the four triangles stand upright.
Step 17
Flip over one of the combinative units from left to right.
Step 18
To assemble this combinative unit and the single unit, tush the four triangle flaps of the single unit into the pockets on each of the four sides of the left combination unit.
Step 19
Turn over this unit from left to right, this is the base of the vase.
Step 20
Turn over the other three combinative units, and apply glue to their four triangle flaps.
Step 21
Now let’s start assembling the base and the modules one by one. Assemble one of the modules by gluing its four triangular flaps to the four sides of the base.

Then assemble the second module in the same way.

Rotate it 90 degrees from back to front.
