Material
Prepare a piece of 15×15 cm square paper and a black paintbrush.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Place the paper with the desired display side face up to begin folding, fold it in half horizontally, leave a crease, and unfold it.
Step 2
Fold the paper in half vertically, and unfold it.
Step 3
Fold the top and bottom corners to meet the center intersection point, leaving two creases, and unfold them.
Step 4
Flip the paper from left to right.
Step 5
Fold the two creases indicated by the red dotted lines you made in the previous step to align with the horizontal crease.
Step 6
Rotate the paper 90 degrees clockwise, then fold it in half horizontally from top to bottom.
Step 7
Fold the top layer’s bottom corner to meet the top edge’s midpoint.
Step 8
Open the left pocket of the top layer, then flatten it along the dotted line, making the top layer’s top left edge align with the hypotenuse of the triangle on the right side. Crease it well, and unfold it.
Step 9
Repeat this for the right pocket.
Open this pocket, then flatten it along the dotted line, making the top layer’s top right edge align with the hypotenuse of the triangle on the left side. Crease it well, and unfold it.
Step 10
Valley fold the creases indicated by the black dotted line and open the pocket on the left and right side of the top layer, then lift the top left and right edge, and flatten the fold to form a stand upright flap.
Step 11
Open and flatten this flap to form a small square.
Step 12
Fold the top and bottom corners a little backward.
Step 13
Rotate the paper 180 degrees from left to right.
Step 14
Fold down the top edge, and then fold it back to the top side to form a zigzag.
Step 15
Turn over the paper from left to right, then fold down the two corners along the dotted lines as you can see in the second picture.
Step 16
Fold down the two ears along the dotted lines.
Step 17
Fold up the bottom corner along the dotted line, leaving a crease, and unfold it.
Step 18
Fold up the bottom layer again and tuck it under the mouth layer, forming the dog’s chin.
Step 19
Draw the eyes, nose, and stubble.
