Material

Get a piece of 15ร—15 cm square paper to create a 1.86ร—1.86ร—1.86 cm origami dice. You can change the colors to meet your preferences.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Place the paper with the colored side facing down. Fold it in half horizontally, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 2

Fold the top and bottom edges to align with the middle horizontal crease, repeat this one more time, and finally, unfold the paper completely.

Step 3

Fold the paper in half vertically, leave a crease, and unfold it.

Step 4

Fold the left and right edges to align with the middle vertical crease, repeat this one more time, and finally, unfold the paper completely.

Step 5

Cut the paper along the two creases indicated by the dotted lines to get two paper strips.

Step 6

Fold down the section of the top edge along the black dotted line, then bring up the left part, and fold the top edge of the left part to the right side along the existing crease.

Step 7

Rotate the paper 180 degrees from left to right, then lift the left part and then fold down its top edge along the existing crease to form a box. Finally, fold up the bottom part.

Step 8

Fold down the top edge of the lid along the crease indicated by the red dotted line, and unfold it. Finally, fold down the lid and tuck the closure into the box.

Make another box in the same manner above.

Rotate the right one 90 degrees from back to front, and 90 degrees from right to left, then another 90 degrees from back to front.

Slightly lift the top side of the right box.

Assemble the two boxes.
