Every girl loves a diamond ring. Today, we’re going to learn how to make an origami ring out of a small strip of paper. You can use different colored origami paper to make a variety of diamond rings.

Material
Prepare pieces of 10×5 cm origami rectangle paper, with different colors on each side.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Start with the red side of the paper facing up. Fold it in half horizontally, crease it well then unfold.
Step 2
Fold the top and bottom edges to align with the center crease, crease them well then unfold.
Step 3
Fold the top and bottom edges to align withe the crease you made in the previous step.
Step 4
Fold the top and bottom edges to the center along the creases shown by the dotted lines.
Step 5
Flip it over.
Step 6
Fold the paper in half vertically from left to right.
Step 7
Rotate it 90 degrees clockwise.
Step 8
Fold the top left and top right corners down diagonally to meet the middle vertical crease, crease them well then unfold.
Step 9
Unfold the model from bottom to top.
Step 10
Pinch up the left and right creases at the center, fold the paper in half horizontally, then flatten it along the creases you made in step 8.
Step 11
Fold the left and right edges of the top layer toward the center to align with the vertical crease.
Step 12
Flip it over.
Step 13
Similarly, fold the left and right edges toward the center to align with the vertical crease.
Step 14
View it from the top, slightly press down the top corner, to inflate the diamond, then view it from the right side, and lay it flat.
Step 15
Open these two flaps, that is your ring band.
Step 16
Bend them and tuck one end into the opening at the other end, if necessary, fold the tucked end to be more narrow.
Step 17
This is the final shape of a red diamond ring, that’s very beautiful! You can also customize the ring size according to your finger.
