Prepare a piece of 15ร—15 cm origami green paper, a piece of 10ร—10 cm origami orange paper, and a piece of 7.5ร—7.5 cm origami green paper.

Step by Step Instructions

The Daisy Flower Part

Step 1


Take out the 10ร—10 cm origami orange paper, fold it in half horizontally, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

If your paper has different colors on each side, begin the fold with the orange side facing down.

Step 2

Fold the paper in half vertically, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 3

Flip the paper from left to right.

Step 4

Fold the bottom right edge to align with the top left edge, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Fold the bottom left edge to align with the top right edge, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 6

Mountain fold the left and right creases, and push the left, right, and top points to meet the bottom point. Flatten the fold to create a small square.

Fold the top left and right edges of the top layer to align with the middle vertical crease, and unfold them.

Step 8

Lift the right flap of the upper one, open it, and squash it along the ceases you made in the previous step. Then, fold the left flap from the left side to the right side along the center vertical crease.

Lift the left flap of the upper one, open it, and squash it along the ceases you made in step 7. Then, flip the paper from left to right.

Fold the top left and right edges to align with the vertical crease, leaving two creases, and unfold them.

As you did in step 8.

Lift the right flap, and squash it along the ceases you made in the previous step. Then, fold the left flap from the left side to the right side along the center vertical crease.

Lift the left flap, open it, and squash it.

Cut off the bottom triangle, then cut off the bottom left and right corners, and cut out a small triangle in the middle of the bottom edge.

Fold down the top corner, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Rotate the paper 90 degrees from back to front, then expand it, and finally, flip the paper from left to right.

Mountain fold the creases in the center indicated by the red dotted lines.

For the outer petals, mountain fold the creases indicated by the red dotted lines and valley fold creases indicated by the black dotted lines. Do the same for the center stamens.

Press down the petals along the creases while pushing them toward the center. Finally, flatten the fold and ensure the number of flaps on the left and right sides is the same.

Step 18

Rotate the paper 90 degrees from back to front, then fold the right edge of the upper flap on the right side to the left side along the black dotted line, then fold the resulting triangle’s left corner to the right side along the paper’s center vertical crease.

Next, repeat this for the other three flaps on the right side.

Turn the paper over from left to right, and repeat the previous step for the other remain four flaps.

Step 20

Rotate the paper 90 degrees from back to front, then gently expand this flower by pulling these petals toward the sides.

To better shape the pistil into a rounded form, use your pinky finger to reach through the hole at the back for assistance.

The Daisy Leaves

Step 1


Take out the 7.5ร—7.5 cm origami green paper, and place it with the green side facing down to begin folding. Fold it in half vertically from right to left, then fold the top layer’s left edge to align with the right edge.

Flip the paper from left to right, then fold the right edge to align with the left edge.

Step 3

Cut it along the red dotted line to get two leaves. You can draw the line in advance.

Step 4

Cut the two leaves on the left and right edges of the bottom section a little along the white dotted lines, then slightly bring up the two edges.

The Daisy Stem

Step 1

Take out the piece of 15ร—15 cm origami green paper and place it with the green side facing down. Roll it from the bottom corner, and apply glue to the last corner to keep the stick from unfolding.

Flatten the top of the stem horizontally, then fold down the flatten section.

Assemble Origami Daisy

Step 1


Apply glue to the bottoms of the two small flaps at the top of the stem, then Insert the stem through the top of the flower part to complete the assembly. The glue on the flaps will hold the flower in place.
