Material
Get a piece of 15×15 cm origami square paper, with different colors on each side, to create a 9×12 cm origami cow.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Place the paper with the desired display color side down to begin folding, fold it in half horizontally, leaving a crease, and unfold it.
Step 2
Fold the top and bottom points toward the center along the slanted black dotted lines.
Step 3
Flip the paper over from front to back, then fold it in half horizontally.
Step 4
Fold up the bottom point of the triangle along the black dotted line, then flip the paper over from left to right, next, fold up the bottom point of the triangle on this side in the same manner.
Step 5
Fold down the top layer, then rotate the paper 180 degrees from left to right.
Step 6
As the pictures show, fold these four corners outward along the black dotted lines, crease them well, and unfold them.
Step 7
Take the right edge of the small triangle on top, fold it toward the left side along the dotted line that connects the two red spots, then press down the upright side along the crease you made in the previous step.
Step 8
Similarly, fold the left edge of this triangle toward the right side along the dotted line that connects two red spots, then press down the upright side along the crease you made.
Step 9
In the same manner, fold the left and right edges of the triangle on the bottom.
Step 10
Fold the left point toward the right side along the dotted line, then fold the top and bottom left points toward the center along the dotted lines that connect two red spots.
Step 11
Fold the left part to the right along the black dotted line that connects two red spots, then fold it back to the left side for a short section along the dotted line.
Step 12
As the first picture shows, fold these two small corners along the dotted lines, then fold the paper in half horizontally from top to bottom.
Step 13
Fold down the tail part along the black dotted line, crease it well, and unfold it.
Step 14
Rotate the paper 90 degrees from front to back, then open the bottom opening, next, shape the creases you made in the previous step, and valley fold the middle horizontal crease indicated by the black dotted line. Finally, close the opening and rotate the paper 90 degrees from back to front.
Step 15
lift the layer of the body part, then cut it along the dotted line, and bring up this small flap that you cut.
Next, view this flap from its opening, then slightly open it, getting one of the ears.
Step 16
Rotate the paper 180 degrees from left to right and make the other ear in the same manner. Lift the layer of the body part and cut along the dotted line. Then, bring up this flap and finally, slightly open it.
Step 17
Draw eyes and patches for this cow to make it cuter.
