Material
Get a 15×15 cm origami square paper with different colors on each side, and you will create an 11.5×7.5 cm cat bookmark. You can change the color or use both colored papers even patterned paper to make your cat bookmark unique in appearance.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Start with the white side of the paper facing up, fold it in half diagonally, and unfold it.
Step 2
Fold it in half vertically, crease it well then unfold.
Step 3
Fold the bottom right edge to the top left, crease it well then unfold.
Step 4
Then fold the bottom left edge to the top right, leaving a crease then unfold it, here is an intersection point formed by these four creases.
Step 5
Fold the top and bottom points to the intersection point diagonally.
Step 6
Flip the paper over.
Step 7
Fold the top and bottom edges to align with the middle horizontal crease, then rotate it 90 degrees clockwise.
Step 8
Lift the top two layers to open the top part of the paper, then bring up the top point, and press it down to overlap with the colored part.
Step 9
Flip it over.
Step 10
Fold the top edge down along the dotted line.
[note that don’t fold the layer underneath]

Fold the top point down along the dotted line.

Flip the model over.
Step 13
Fold the left and right corners of the top layer down diagonally, crease them well, and unfold them.
Step 14
View it from the top right, slightly open the top right corner of the top layer, press down the tip, shape the crease you made in the previous step, tucking the tip between the layers of the corner.
Step 15
Similarly, open the top left corner, press down the tip, and shape the crease, tucking the tip between the layers of the corner.
Step 16
Fold the left and right edges to align with the middle vertical crease.
Step 17
Fold the right edge to the left, fold the top right corner down along the existing crease, then fold it up along the dotted line as the third picture shows, to do a pleat fold. Finally, unfold the step in the first picture.
Step 18
Similarly, fold the left edge to the right, fold the top left corner down along the existing crease, then fold it back to the top to make a pleat fold. Finally, unfold the step in the first picture.
Step 19
Flip the model over.
Step 20
Take the bottom point of the colored part, fold it up to meet the crease, then fold it back to the bottom a little.
