What’s your picture when you think about a cow’s face? Two ears, either standing or hanging on the two sides of the head, a rectangular-shaped head with two big noses. This origami cow face makes all of those elements come to life. Guess what, you will only need 10 steps.

We use educational paper, with one side black and the other white. If you start with the white side facing up, the white color will cover the central face, and the black color will cover the ear and the cow’s nose.

Material
Get a 15*15 cm origami paper with one black and one white side. This will create an 11*9.5 cm cow face. If you want a bigger or smaller cow face, you can also choose to use another size of square paper.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Fold the paper in half once from top to bottom and from left to right, and unfold it. We can see here are two vertical cross-creases.
Step 2
Fold the bottom edge up a little.
Step 3
Flip it over.
Step 4
Fold the right edge to the left to meet the middle crease.
Repeat the other side too.
Step 5
Fold the two middle top points diagonally to the left and right.
Step 6
Fix the top left and right corners, and lift up the left and right layers of the surface to the left and right along the dotted lines, respectively.
Step 7
Press down both layers and lift up the top edge simultaneously to form a small pocket.
Step 8
Then flatten it.
Step 9
Fold the bottom right corner to the left diagonally along the dotted line.
Repeat this for the left.
Step 10
Flip the paper again.
Step 11
Now you can draw eyes and a nose for your adorable cow.
Don’t forget to draw a dark circle to one of his eyes to make it cuter and more cow-like.
