Material
Get a 15×10 cm origami paper, with one red and one white side, and you will create a 7.5×5 cm heart envelope.
You can either use Letter Paper (8.5 inches * 11 inches) or A4 paper (8.27 inches * 11.69 inches) for this model. Or find any paper with a 2:3 aspect ratio. We are using 10 cm by 15 cm paper for demonstration.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Start with the white side of the paper facing up, fold it in half horizontally, and unfold it.
Step 2
Fold the left edge to align with the top edge, then fold the right rectangle to the left, and finally unfold the paper.
Step 3
Fold the left edge to align with the crease you just made, crease it well then unfold it.
Step 4
Fold the left edge to align with the crease you made in the previous step, then rotate the paper 90 degrees counterclockwise, and finally flip the paper over.
Step 5
Fold the bottom left and right corners diagonally to meet the middle vertical crease.
Step 6
Turn over the paper.
Step 7
Fold the bottom point up to meet the intersection point shown by the red spot.
Step 8
Flip the paper over.
Step 9
Lift the two colored layers on the bottom to open these two pockets, then squash them.
Step 10
Fold the left and right points on the bottom diagonally.
Step 11
Fold the bottom two corners up a little diagonally.
Step 12
Flip the paper over.
Step 13
Fold the left and right edges toward the center along the dotted lines.
Step 14
Fold the bottom edge up to align with the top edge, leaving a crease then unfold it.
Step 15
Bring up the heart and fold the bottom edge up again, then press down the heart to make the folded layer underneath the heart.
