Material
Prepare a piece of rectangular gum wrapper.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Place the paper with the desired display side face down to begin folding. Fold down the top edge along the dotted line.

Step 2
Fold it in half vertically, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 3
Rotate the paper 180 degrees clockwise, then fold the left and right edges to align with the top edge to form a triangle on each side.

Step 4
Fold the top left corner of the left triangle to meet its top right corner, leaving a vertical crease, and unfold it.

Step 5
Flip the paper from left to right.

Step 6
Fold the left and right sections of the top edge to align with the vertical crease, and then unfold the right section.

Step 7
Fold the top right corner to meet the top left corner, then fold it back to the right side to make a valley fold, and form a zigzag pattern.

Step 8
Fold the top edge to align with the vertical crease.

Step 9
Fold down the top triangle.

Step 10
Turn the paper over, then fold the top edge to align with the bottom edge to complete the origami boat.
