Frog base, is named because it is mainly used as the starting point for making frogs. It has flaps that can be further transformed into the leg and body of a frog. This involves lots of repetition.

How to make a frog base
Step 1
Starting by making a square base, fold the left top edge to meet the center crease. And then unfold.

Step 2
Lift up the left triangle.

Step 3
Open it and flatten the pocket.

Step 4
Lift the top triangle and fold the right to the left.

Now, let’s repeat the right part: fold the left top edge to meet the center crease and then unfold.

Step 6
Lift up the right side too.

Step 7
Now push the top edge and flatten the flap.

Flip the paper over.

Now let’s work on the other side. Starting by fold the left top edge to meet the center crease and then unfold.

Lift up the left triangle along with the center crease.

Lift up and open the left triangle and then flatten the pocket.

Fold the right top triangle to the left.
