Material
Get a piece of 15cm x 15cm origami square paper to create a super cute origami crown. Feel free to experiment with different colors and sizes of square paper.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Place the paper with the desired display side facing down to begin folding. Fold it in half horizontally from bottom to top. Then fold it in half vertically, leaving a crease, and unfold it.
Step 2
Fold the left and right edges to align with the center vertical crease.
Step 3
Open the right pocket and squash it to form a triangle at the bottom.
Step 4
Similarly, open the left pocket and squash it to form a triangle.
Step 5
Flip the paper from left to right, then fold the left and right edges to align with the center vertical crease. Next, fold the top layer’s top left and right corners diagonally along the dotted lines.
Step 6
Flip the paper from left to right.
Step 7
Fold the top left and right corners diagonally along the dotted lines.
Step 8
Fold down the top triangle of the front one, then turn the paper over from left to right, and fold down the top triangle on this side as well.
Step 9
Expand the pocket, and push the bottom edge upward along the left and right edges.
Step 10
Rotate the model 180 degrees so the bottom faces up, gently sharpen and flatten the left and right corners, and then rotate it back.
