Spring tulips are elegant with simple lines. Let’s learn to make a beautiful, three-dimensional origami tulip with two pieces of paper and convey the beauty of nature with your fingertips. From the slender and upright flower stems, the stretched green leaves, and the blooming flowers, each part of the design has been simplified to make it easy for novices to start.
The production process requires the assistance of basic tools such as glue and scissors, so that the stunning flower shape can be firmly combined.

Material
Prepare two pieces of 15ร15 cm origami paper, use the pink one for the tulip, and the green one for the stem and leaf.

Step by Step Instructions
The Tulip Part
Step 1
Take out the pink paper, fold it in half diagonally from bottom right to top left, leaving a crease, and unfold it.
If your paper has different colors on each side, begin the fold with the pink side facing down.

Step 2
Fold the paper in half diagonally from bottom left to top right, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 3
Fold the four corners to meet the center intersection point, then flip the paper from left to right.

Step 4
Fold the paper in half horizontally, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 5
Fold the paper in half vertically, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 6
Turn the paper over from left to right.

Step 7
Fold the bottom left edge to align with the top right edge, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 8
Fold the bottom right edge to align with the top left edge, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 9
Lift the left, right, and bottom corners, and fold them to meet the top corner, flatten the fold the create a smaller square.

Step 10
Fold the top layer’s left and right corners toward the center along the black dotted lines, then fold the right flap to the left side, and flip the paper from left to right.
Next, similarly, fold the left and right corners toward the center along the black dotted lines, and fold the right flap to the left side.

Step 11
Fold the bottom left and right edges to align with the vertical crease, then flip the paper from left to right, and repeat the step you just took.

Step 12
Cut a little bit off the bottom corner, then rotate the paper 90 degrees from front to back, and finally, prop it up through the center.

Step 13
Curl each petal’s top corner down, and rotate the flower 90 degrees from back to front. This is the final shape of the tulip part.

The Tulip Leaf
Step 1
Take out the green paper, and place it with the green side facing down to begin folding. Fold it in half horizontally, leaving a crease, and unfold it. Next, cut this paper along this crease to get two rectangular pieces of paper, marked 2-1 and 2-2.

Step 2
Fold the paper marked 2-1 in half vertically, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Step 3
Fold the four corners diagonally along the black dotted lines, then fold the top left and right edges to align with the vertical crease.

Step 4
Fold the bottom left and right edges to align with the vertical crease, then fold the top left and right edges to align with the vertical crease.

Step 5
Fold the paper in half vertically, and unfold it.

Step 6
While pinching the bottom, press the top part back slightly. Then, cut off the bottom a little.

The Tulip Stem
Step 1
Roll the 2-2 paper into a stick and apply glue to the last corner to keep the stick from unfolding.

Step 2
Flatten the top of the stem horizontally, then cut the flattened part from the center of the top downwards, and finally press the two resulting flaps down to the sides.

Assemble Origami Tulip
Step 1
Apply glue to the bottom sides of the two small flaps at the top of the stem, then Insert the stem through the top of the flower part to complete the assembly. The glue on the flaps will hold the flower in place.

Step 2
Glue the leaf on the stem.
