Do you remember that first origami plane in your childhood? This is the basic model for an aircraft. It is one of the most accessible origami planes and is super friendly for kids.
This origami plane can be the starting point of your kid’s origami journey. It can be made with just several folds. When finished, you can try to fly it.
For a pure color plane, use papers with the same color on both sides.

Material
Get a 15*15 cm origami paper, one side white and the other light blue. The finished origami plane is around 11.5 cm long.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Start with the white side of the paper facing up, fold it in half, crease well then unfold.
Step 2
Fold the right and left points to the center diagonally.
Step 3
Fold it in half again.
Step 4
Now fold the top right edge to the left along the dotted line, to meet the left edge.
Step 5
Flip the paper over.
Step 6
Repeat step 4 for this side, fold the top left edge to meet the right edge.
Step 7
Slightly unfold the two flaps you just folded, and this super easy origami plane is done!
