All you need is a piece of paper and a pair of scissors and with a few simple steps, you can get a lovely origami maple leaf.
The maple leaf is the most iconic thing about fall and the most beautiful leaf of the season. After finishing it, you can color it or paint it with your favorite pattern. It is great to use it as a bookmark to keep track of your reading or to decorate a gift box.

Material
Get a piece of 15×15 cm origami square paper, with different colors on each side, to create a 12×13 cm origami maple leaf.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Place the paper with the desired display color side down to begin folding, fold it in half horizontally from bottom to top, then fold it in half vertically, and unfold it.
Step 2
Fold the bottom left and right corners to meet the midpoint of the top edge, and unfold them.
Step 3
Turn over the paper from back to front.
Step 4
Mountain fold the creases of the two layers on the left side you made in the previous step, and fold them up along the black dotted line [picture 1].
Then, fold the vertical creases of the two layers up along the black dotted line [picture 2].
Next, similarly, fold up the creases of the two layers on the right side you made in the previous step along the black dotted line [picture 3].
Step 5
Straighten the paper and cut along the dotted line in the image, leaving only the top part.
Step 6
Expand it and flip it over to get your origami maple leaf.
