Here, I used 15 pieces of dollar bills to make an origami crown, you can freely increase or decrease the amount of bills to adjust the size of the crown.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Take out one piece of the dollar bill and place it with the portrait side face up to begin folding. Fold it in half vertically from right to left, then repeat this two more times. Crease well and unfold the bill completely to get seven vertical creases.

Step 2
Fold the right edge to the left side along the most right vertical crease, then fold the left edge to the right side along the fifth vertical crease from left to right.

Step 3
Fold the right edge to the left side along the crease indicated by the dotted line, then fold it back to the right along the existing crease to make a valley crease and form a zigzag shape.

Step 4
Fold the right edge to the left side along the crease indicated by the dotted line, then flip it from left to right.

Step 5
Fold the three corners on the top side diagonally along the dotted lines, crease them well, and unfold them.

Step 6
Expand the right layer by folding the right edge of the top layer to the left side. Then, mountain fold the crease indicated by the red dotted line, and valley fold the creases indicated by the blue dotted lines. Fold down the top edge’s midpoint of the right layer, and fold it in half vertically from left to right.

Step 7
Fold the left layer back to the right side.

Step 8
Mountain fold the crease indicated by the red dotted line, and valley fold the creases indicated by the blue dotted lines. Fold down the top edge’s midpoint of the left rectangle, and fold the layer you folded back to the left side.

Step 9
Flip the bill from left to right and expand the right layer.

Step 10
Then, mountain fold the crease indicated by the red dotted line, and valley fold the creases indicated by the blue dotted lines. Fold down the top edge’s midpoint of the right layer and fold it in half vertically from right to left.

Step 11
Fold down the top edge of the left rectangle along the dotted line, then turn the paper over from left to right.

Step 12
Make another 14 units in the same manner above.

Step 13
Take out two units, and flip them to make the display side face down. Then, fold up the bottom edge of the top left layer of the left unit, and expand the right part of the right unit.
Next, flip them from left to right, and expand the right part of the left unit.

Step 14
Place the left part of the right unit on top of the right part of the left unit, and make sure their creases overlap. Then refold these creases-mountain fold the creases indicated by the red dotted lines, and valley fold the crease indicated by the blue dotted line [pictures 1 and 2].
Finally, fold the vertical mountain crease to the left side along the blue dotted line, to complete the assembly of two units [pictures 3 and 4].

Step 15
Flip the assembled units from left to right, and fold down the top edge of the rectangle, as you can see in the second picture. Finally, turn it over from left to right.

Step 16
Assemble another two units in the same manner in steps 13 to 15, then flip it from left to right.

Step 17
Fold up the bottom edge along the dotted line, and fold up the bottom edge again along the dotted line to meet the bottom edge of the top part.

Step 18
Unfold the left section of the bottom edge to assemble other units, then flip this assembled part from left to right.

Step 19
Assemble another units in the same manner in steps 13 to 15.

Step 20
Assemble the remaining units.
Note that the folding of the bottom edge of the back side is to be accomplished once for every four units assembled, as in step 17.

Step 21
Follow steps 13 to 15 to connect both ends and complete the crown.
